Request Financial Assistance

We established the GAP Fund to provide financial assistance to Globalization Academy families in need so that all students have the opportunity to participate in experiences outside of the classroom. These experiences have a profound impact on the development of our students and our goal is to minimize the financial barrier for participation. For approved applications, the GAP Fund will provide payment for annual dues and payment for up to three same-day local events per school year.

  • GAP Fund Criteria:

    •  All requests for support are subject to approval by the Treasurer and President.

    • The availability of financial assistance is limited to funds we have received through donations.

    • Applications and related approvals are on an annual basis. If you need financial assistance in subsequent years, please re-apply for each year.

    • Financial support is available for future payments. We are not able to provide refunds for previously paid amounts.

    • The funds are intended to support local events such as our dinners or local school field trips. International or overnight field trips are not included.   

    • Please provide one application per Academy student. If there are multiple Academy students in your family, please provide separate applications.

    • All GAP Fund criteria are subject to change by the Pope Globalization Academy Foundation.

  • Application Review Process:  Completed applications will be reviewed by the President and Treasurer. Awards will be granted at the discretion of this group, and criteria for awards may change at any time. 

  • Granting of Award:  The Treasurer will email the applicant with the decision.

  • Award Details: Student will receive a coupon code exclusive to them to use on Square to pay for 1 annual dues and 3 local events such as our dinners or local school field trips. International or overnight field trips are not included.
